Create website backup using updraft plugin to Google Drive Remote

  1. Install UpdraftPlus

  2. Activate UpdraftPlus
    • After installing, activate the UpdraftPlus plugin.
  3. Configure UpdraftPlus Settings
    • Go to "Settings" and then click on "UpdraftPlus Backups."
  4. Choose Backup Schedule
    • Under the "Settings" tab, you can choose the backup schedule. You can set it to manual, every 4, 8, or 12 hours, daily, weekly, or monthly.
  5. Select Remote Storage
    • Go to the "Settings" tab and scroll down to the "Choose your remote storage" section.
    • From the drop-down menu, select "Google Drive."
  6. Authorize Google Drive
    • Click on the "Authenticate with Google" button.
    • Follow the prompts to log in to your Google account and grant permission for UpdraftPlus to access your Google Drive.
  7. Complete Authorization
    • Once authorized, you will be redirected back to your WordPress dashboard.
  8. Configure Google Drive Settings
